Among other things, I've been busy recently planning our family vacation for this summer. As you can see, it involves a tent. Okay, you can pick your jaws back up off the floor. Yes- we're going camping (or tenting, as I've heard it said). Behold, our portable palace!

Awesome! We have a tent like that -it's HUGE and RED. Pretty much as high impact as you can get but so fun.
Where will you camp?
Wow, what a nice BIG tent. Glad it fit just under that ceiling fan. :-)
Oh no!!!Meghan, it looks like you have 3 bears already in your tent to deal with. What a neat picture you captured of those bears..... and that big one looks so suspicious with those twinkling eyes and big smile.
It looks nice and looks a lot easier to set up than our old canvas umbrella tent. If we touched the sides of ours it became unwaterproof!! Not good! Mom
Uh, "camping" or "tenting" is usually done outside. The tent is usually set up on the ground.
When you fold up the tent, where does the lounge chair and lamp go? But, I do see the advantage of this method; if one has to use the bathroom, it's just down the hall. And, air conditioning is that homey touch that only a living room campsite can offer.
Serously, you'll all have a great time.

SWEET TENT! You'll have to move down the street so we can borrow it! When your kids are older, we have two 2-person tents you can borrow when you're ready to have a "kid's tent" and a "grown-up's tent" :)
Love ya,
AKT
