An Easter Birthday

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!" Luke 24:1-6

I hope everyone had a joyful Easter sunday! It was a blessing to spend the day together for the first time in several years. In the midst of our busy schedule, we had a consolidated holiday: Easter and Braden's birthday! I can't believe he's 3 already! In many ways, he still seems so babyish, but I can't deny that he's becoming more and more little boy.

Braden's sssselection thisssss year: A Sssssssnake Cake

Happy Birthday Braden!!
What a great snake cake I assume you made, Meghan. Glad you all were together to have a nice combined celebration of Easter and birthday party. We will call tonight and sing to Braden and let him tell us about his special day.
