Apparently, one of these used to cost about $3.50 in the '70's. Ours was free since we started with an obliging rock from our garden. Introducing Trevor's pet rock: Ladybug.

He did a great job on his pet Ladybug, and what a great pet, quiet and not messy. I would say a perfect pet :)
I did not have a pet rock in the 70's; but if Trevor's was for sale, I might have bought it. He painted a very attractive Ladybug. However, I did read the story Stone Soup to the boys when they were small and we actually made a stone soup. Wonder if they remember that.
I am a Christ-follower, who has been blessed by God with a loving husband and four lively children to care for. My passions include my family, reading, nature, art, cooking, sewing, knitting and seeing/learning/trying something new. Fortunately for me, my passions intersect a lot. So, if you'd like to see where we're going or what we're trying, stop by often! A bientot!
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart; you shall teach them dilligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7
